This is our mascot (Cock) affectionately know as "Jimmy Jack Cadillac" - he was brought to us by another farmer, after being rescued from the jaws of a hungry farm dog - Jimmy was not able to walk - was bitten in the back and suffered some nerve damage. We set him up in our barn outside any of the other bird pens & gave him space/time to heal - making sure he was fed, given plenty of water. Jimmy has found himself making a fantastic recovery - he's the meet & greeter everyday when it's time to feed everyone - he has gained plenty of weight - is now crowing & welcomes you with a sideways attack - the way any protective cock should. He's really funny - he'll come at you until he hears your voice - then rethinks his stance, as I'm the one that gives him his supper...
