A quick shot with the iphone after the storm early am - today I lost my phone - having to leave to another location to do some digging out - then wanting to use the camera on the phone again - no phone - couldn't really think when & where I could have dropped it - went to the ipad - downloaded the "find my iphone" app - logged in with apple & opened a screen with a map & the location of my phone pinging - drove to the location - close but still didn't know how I would hone in on the exact location - went to the ipad again - walked around the location - then hit a tab that said devices - clicked on "ping a sound" - from inside a garage from which I earlier used a snowblower from - a loud ping sound came - amazing - I had dropped it onto a piece of carpet - never seen it fall - would have never found it until summer - maybe - Thanks, "iapple"

Here's a shot from yesterday previous to the snow over night - standing out on the road makes a good perspective - at that point I think we already had 5 inches on the ground...

Jimmy Jack Cadillac

This is our mascot (Cock) affectionately know as  "Jimmy Jack Cadillac" - he was brought to us by another farmer, after being rescued from the jaws of a hungry farm dog - Jimmy was not able to walk - was bitten in the back and suffered some nerve damage. We set him up in our barn outside any of the other bird pens & gave him space/time to heal - making sure he was fed, given plenty of water. Jimmy has found himself making a fantastic recovery - he's the meet & greeter everyday when it's time to feed everyone - he has gained plenty of weight - is now crowing & welcomes you with a sideways attack - the way any protective cock should. He's really funny - he'll come at you until he hears your voice - then rethinks his stance, as I'm the one that gives him his supper...

Driving with Mr. Benny

This is another awesome feature of the iphone 5 - the reversible camera lens - pretty cool, but take caution - it's tricky driving & taking a picture in reverse at the same time - here I am this am picking up Mr. Benny  - this boy loves to ride in the truck - he's almost convinced me to let him drive - I don't know - maybe he can....?

Panorama

Another shot from the yard - I love the panorama feature on this phone - I'll have to get better with it and then see what some of the images look like in photoshop....

I picked up the iphone 5 last month - the panoramic option on the camera is pretty impressive for a phone, actually it's unbelievable for a phone. In the past I have thought about buying a panoramic camera but it's high price tag and let's say lack of versatility keep me from doing so...

Groundhogs Day

What better time to catch up other than Groundhogs day? 2013 should be a productive year - getting back on track with photography work - will once again do more & more artistic works. Will start out the year with my favorite - "Canvas" working on updating web-site(s) and keeping a more proactive profile...
